Kaiser Dental Insurance at Our Beverly Hills Dental Office
If your Kaiser dental card says Delta Dental PPO or Delta Dental Premier, you are in-network here.
Your Kaiser Dental Plan Is Really a Delta Dental Plan
Kaiser Permanente does not run its own dental offices in California. Your Kaiser medical plan and your Kaiser dental plan are two separate things, and the dental side is administered by Delta Dental of California. That is why your dental ID card says Delta Dental on it even though you signed up through Kaiser.
Delta Dental administers more than one kind of plan, and the kind you have decides where you can go. That is the whole question, and your dental card answers it in about ten seconds. If you would rather not work it out on your own, send us your plan details and we will check it for you.
Three Cards, Three Answers
Delta Dental PPO
You are in-network with us. Your plan pays at its highest level here and you get the contracted rate, with no balance billing for covered services.
Delta Dental Premier
You are also in-network with us. Premier is a larger network with slightly higher contracted fees than PPO, and we are contracted in both, so either card works at our Beverly Hills dental office.
DeltaCare USA
We know this isn’t the answer you were hoping for. DeltaCare USA is a dental HMO, which means it assigns you to one specific dental office and doesn’t pay for care anywhere else outside of an emergency. We aren’t a DeltaCare USA office, so we can’t become your assigned office — but you’re still welcome to see Dr. Nader, and our membership plan makes routine care more affordable without the hoops of insurance.
Kaiser Senior Advantage Members
If your dental benefit comes through Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage, it runs on the DeltaCare USA Medicare plan, which is a dental HMO with an assigned dental office. We aren’t able to accept Kaiser Senior Advantage, DeltaCare USA, or other Medicare dental plans, and we’d much rather tell you that kindly up front than have you find out at the front desk.
You’re still welcome to see us as a private patient, and our membership plan is often the simpler path. Call us and we’ll give you an honest picture of what your visit would cost.
How to Check Your Card in Ten Seconds
Read the plan name
Your dental ID card names the plan, not just the carrier. Delta Dental PPO, Delta Dental Premier and DeltaCare USA are three different plans and the name is printed right on it.
Call the number on the back
Ask one question: am I on a PPO, a Premier, or a DeltaCare USA plan? Any Delta Dental representative can answer it immediately.
Or let us do it
Call or text 310-278-6630 with your member ID and we will verify your benefits and tell you what you would owe before you commit to anything.
Convenient to Kaiser West Los Angeles
Our Beverly Hills dental office sits on North Camden Drive in the Golden Triangle, a short drive from Kaiser Permanente’s West Los Angeles and Los Angeles medical centers. If you work at Kaiser or get your medical care there, your dental visit does not have to be a project. There is valet parking downstairs and we book one patient at a time, so you are not sitting in a waiting room burning a lunch hour.
Not on a Delta Plan?
We’re also in-network with Cigna, MetLife, Guardian and Aetna PPO plans. If you have a PPO plan we aren’t contracted with, we’ll bill it out-of-network as a courtesy so you can still use your benefits with us. If you have no dental coverage at all, ask about our membership plan.
